BoostChannels LLC doing business as "Voclify" ("the Company", "we," "us", "our"), registered under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at https://voclify.io (the "Site") and use our AI-powered content creation services ("Services"). Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy supplements the Terms & Conditions.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information that you provide directly to us and information that is collected automatically when you use our Services.

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Registration: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). If you register using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, Google ID, and profile avatar from Google.
  • Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other financial account information. We retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription identifiers for managing your subscription.
  • Communications: If you contact us via email or other means, we may retain the content of your communications along with your email address and our responses.
  • User Input: When you use our AI tools, you provide prompts and inputs for content generation. These inputs are transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing but are not stored on our servers beyond the immediate request-response cycle.
  • YouTube Channel Data: If you choose to connect your YouTube channel via Google OAuth, we collect and store: your YouTube channel ID, channel name, channel thumbnail, subscriber count, video count, total view count, recent video performance metrics (views), and YouTube Analytics data including daily views, watch time, average view duration, and subscriber changes. We also store OAuth access and refresh tokens necessary to maintain your connection. This data is used solely to provide you with analytics insights and AI-powered recommendations for your channel.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with the Services, including the tools you use, the number of daily generations, extend usage, and feature interactions.
  • Technical Data: We may collect your IP address, browser type and version, user agent string, operating system, device type, and referring URLs.
  • Activity Logs: We maintain activity logs that record actions performed on the Site (such as generating content, extending scripts, logging in) for security, abuse prevention, and analytics purposes.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • A. To provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  • B. To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send transactional communications;
  • C. To create and manage your User Account;
  • D. To enforce daily usage limits and subscription plan restrictions;
  • E. To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
  • F. To communicate with you about your account, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support;
  • G. To improve, personalize, and optimize the Services and develop new features;
  • H. To monitor and analyze usage trends and activities for internal analytics;
  • I. To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
  • J. To send you updates about changes to the Services or policies (you may opt out of non-essential communications).

3. AI CONTENT PROCESSING AND THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS

  • A. When you use our AI-powered tools, your input prompts are transmitted to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic, the maker of Claude) for content generation.
  • B. We transmit only the content of your prompts to AI providers - no personal information (such as your name, email, or account details) is included in these transmissions.
  • C. We do not store the content of your prompts or the AI-generated outputs on our servers beyond the immediate request-response cycle.
  • D. Third-party AI providers may have their own data processing and retention policies. We encourage you to review Anthropic's privacy policy for information on how they handle data.
  • E. The Company is not responsible for the data practices of third-party AI providers beyond what is contractually agreed upon.
  • F. Generate Reply Feature: When you use the Generate Reply feature, the text of the specific YouTube comment you are replying to is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a reply suggestion. Only the individual comment text is transmitted — no other comments or personal data are included. The comment text is not permanently stored by Voclify beyond the immediate request-response cycle. Reply credit usage (free: 0, starter: 25, pro: 300 per month) is tracked per user per month in our database. For details on how Anthropic handles data, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Payment Processors (Stripe): To process payments and manage subscriptions. Stripe's use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.
  • AI Service Providers (Anthropic): To process your content generation requests. Only prompt content is shared - no personal data.
  • Google: If you choose to authenticate via Google Sign-In, authentication data is exchanged with Google. Google's use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.
  • YouTube (Google APIs): If you connect your YouTube channel, we access the YouTube Analytics API using read-only OAuth scopes. We only read publicly available channel information and your channel's analytics data. We never post, edit, delete, or modify any content on your YouTube channel. OAuth tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time by disconnecting your channel in the Channel Brain settings or by revoking access in your Google Account permissions. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • YouTube InnerTube API: For channel search, video browsing, and channel information retrieval, we use YouTube's internal InnerTube API (youtubei/v1) instead of the YouTube Data API v3. Requests are made to youtube.com from both the browser extension and our server. This API is used solely for discovery and display purposes — no additional user data is collected compared to the previous YouTube Data API v3 integration. No API key or user authentication is required for these requests.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (i) comply with applicable law; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; (iii) prevent fraud or abuse of the Services; or (iv) protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be transferred as part of such a transaction.

5. DATA SECURITY

  • A. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
  • B. Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing and are never stored in plain text.
  • C. All data transmission between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
  • D. Authentication tokens (JWT) are used for session management and have expiration times.
  • E. Sensitive configuration values (API keys, secrets) are stored as environment variables and are not exposed to client-side code.
  • F. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. DATA RETENTION

  • A. Account Data: We retain your account information (name, email, subscription details) for as long as your account remains active.
  • B. Usage Data: Daily usage statistics are retained for up to 12 months for analytics and service improvement purposes.
  • C. Activity Logs: Activity logs (including IP addresses and user agent data) are retained for up to 12 months for security and abuse prevention.
  • D. Payment Records: Payment and subscription records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
  • E. YouTube Data: YouTube channel data and analytics are cached and refreshed periodically while your channel remains connected. When you disconnect your YouTube channel, all stored data including OAuth tokens, channel statistics, and cached analytics are deleted immediately. If you delete your account, all YouTube data is automatically removed.
  • F. Account Deletion: If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our Terms).

7. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE

  • A. We use essential cookies and browser localStorage for authentication purposes (storing JWT tokens) and user session management.
  • B. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
  • C. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. However, disabling cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Site.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • A. Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • B. Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 10. DIRECT MARKETING

  • A. We may send periodic promotional emails to you regarding new features, updates, or offers related to the Services.
  • B. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by contacting us at info@boostchannels.com.
  • C. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests.
  • D. If you opt out of receiving promotional emails, we may still send you transactional emails about your account, subscription, or services you have requested.

11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We will take steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.

12. INFORMATION FOR EU/EEA INDIVIDUALS (GDPR)

A. Data Controller

  • Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations (responding to lawful requests from authorities).

13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. These third parties are not parties to this Privacy Policy and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage occasioned from the use of such third-party services.

14. BROWSER EXTENSION ("VOCLIFY FOR YOUTUBE STUDIO")

This section applies specifically to the Voclify Chrome browser extension.

A. Data the Extension Collects

  • YouTube Studio Page Data: When you browse YouTube Studio with the extension active, the extension reads visible page content (video titles, view counts, analytics metrics) to provide real-time AI insights. This data is processed locally in your browser and sent to our servers only when generating AI analysis.
  • Authentication Token: The extension stores your Voclify login session token in Chrome's local storage to authenticate API requests. This token is never shared with third parties.
  • YouTube Channel ID: The extension reads your YouTube channel ID from the Studio URL to match it with your connected Voclify account.
  • YouTube API Data: The extension fetches your video list, view counts, and analytics via the YouTube InnerTube API and your authorized OAuth connection (configured on the Voclify dashboard, not within the extension). This data is used solely to generate personalized channel insights.

B. Data the Extension Does NOT Collect

  • Browsing history outside of YouTube Studio
  • Personal files, downloads, or bookmarks
  • Data from other tabs, windows, or websites
  • Passwords, payment information, or form data
  • Audio, video, camera, or microphone data
  • Keystrokes or screen captures

C. Permissions Justification

  • storage: Used to store your authentication session and cached channel data locally in Chrome. No data is stored externally via this permission.
  • activeTab: Used to read the current YouTube Studio page content for generating real-time AI insights. Only activated when you are on YouTube Studio.
  • host_permissions (youtube.com, studio.youtube.com): Required to inject the AI assistant interface (Lumi orb) into YouTube Studio pages and read visible analytics data for personalized insights.
  • host_permissions (voclify.io): Required to sync your login session between the Voclify website and the Chrome extension.

D. Data Storage and Security

  • All extension data is stored locally in Chrome's sandboxed storage (chrome.storage.local), which is isolated from other extensions and websites.
  • API communications between the extension and Voclify servers are encrypted via HTTPS.
  • No extension data is sold, shared with, or transmitted to third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the AI analysis service (Anthropic for AI processing).

E. Uninstallation

Removing the extension from Chrome immediately deletes all locally stored extension data. Your Voclify account and any data stored on our servers (channel connection, brain settings) remains until you delete your account through the Voclify dashboard.

15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your use of the Services after any such amendment or change shall be deemed as your express acceptance of such amended Privacy Policy. Information collected prior to the time any change is posted will be processed according to the rules and laws that applied at the time the information was collected.

16. GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy and the use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any dispute concerning this Privacy Policy shall first be attempted to be resolved by negotiation, and only where such negotiation fails may the matter be referred to a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Wyoming.
